Music Teaching ideas and Classroom Music Games

Dear ,

Its here! The ebook I've been promising for months has finally been completed, and its ready for you to download today.

Whats this all about?

Last November we ran a competition where we asked everyone on our mailing list the to give us their single best response to these questions:

  • What do you do when you have to fill in for another teacher at a moments notice?
  • What do you give a substitute teacher to fill in your lessons in your place?

The result was amazing! We had over 50 brilliant ideas, with everything from complete lesson plans through to performance and listening ideas and classroom games.

What we've done is separate those that are worthy of more attention, and we'll post them as separate articles (with permission from their authors of course).

There were 20 or so that really fit the mould of Classroom Music Games - ideas that you could easily do yourself or give to a subsititute to do in your place.

These are those little "gems" that you might pick up from another teacher, or that you might see someone do that are an invaluable tool in your teaching "bag of tricks".

These little classroom games will help you become more popular with the students, help them learn something, and most importantly save your stress. You'll have a couple of little games you can turn to to fill in a few minutes at the end of a lesson, or use if your original lesson plans goes all wrong!

Not all the ideas may be suitable for your teaching situation, but I know that you're sure to find something in there that will be useful.

Have a great week, and let me know your feedback as always!

Kind regards,

Janice Tuck Signature
